The
MLM Blogging F.A.Q.?
When I originally
set out to create this mini "niche" site I created a
simple lead
capture page and posted it in a few of the MLM
forums.
I asked
everyone what their biggest blogging question was and I got a
large enough response that I had plenty of content ideas to
put this resource together.
Here are some of
the more common questions answered.
Q: Can a Blog
cause my website to rise in the search result ranking from
Google or another search engine?
A: Definitely
a Blog is a great way to gain leverage for another site you
may be trying to improve your ranking for. If you keep
the topics closely related and don't post too much duplicate
content.
Here's a tip -
Anytime you update your website or add a new page or even when
you start your blog you need to make an individual Blog post
about EACH page of
your site.
Make the article
a paragraph describing the page and include a link to the page
with your chosen keywords in the anchor text. This
tactic works really well when your Blog is being spidered.
And if your
website is already being spidered you just need to link it to
your Blog to get the process rolling!
Q: Will a Blog
pass the No SPAM Policy?
A: Blogs
are NOT considered SPAM. Unless of course you SPAM out your
Blog URL which I know you wouldn't do right...? RSS and
Blogging is the way communication on the Internet seems to be
turning. It's much more efficient than email because
when someone picks up your RSS feed from your Blog you have a Direct
link to their desktop. Email can't give you that.
Q: What is the
best way to generate interest in a product that I am marketing
if the blog is business/mlm oriented?
A: This
one is easy first you need to look deeper into your product...
Is it a nutritional? if so then you could write a few
Blog articles on each ingredient in the product.
Run a series on them to make the Blog "sticky" so
people will want to come back.
Dig deeper into
the products... How are they made?, where are they from?,
where can I get them?.... Write articles on everything
and keep posting this search engine bait to your Blog.

Q: If I work
with one particular company, (say, Cognigen) how much
difference does it make if 50 other Cognigen reps have blogs?
A: That
all depends on who is going to take it
seriously... And I can tell you out of 50 people
not many will take it as far as they could.
Whoever has the
First Blog up can also have an advantage over other Blogs with
the search engines. If you keep providing great
"sticky" content on your Blog you'll never have to
worry about the others. Just like any MLM program... It
takes Commitment to succeed.
Q: I have no
clue as to how to start, it sounds very interesting though?

Q:
I'm not sure how the traffic gets there in the first place. Do
search engines love them and spider them quick? Or do they get
linked in with a community? Or perhaps nobody visits them, and
the point is gaining PR to link to your others sites?
A:
A Blog
is like any other website - Traffic needs to be generated in
the same way you would go about getting traffic for any other
site.
Yes
search engines like Blogs because they are always great
sources of fresh relevant content. And yes you can link
you Blog in with a Blogging community there are several
online.
In
addition Blogs are also great for gaining PR (page rank) that
you can spread to your other sites. Blogs are a good
thing.
